Important!

As from Thurs 17th Sept I am no longer carrying out work for Cranes Music and will now be concentrating solely on my own customer base. This will now mean that work will be turned around much more quickly and efficiently. The finishing touches are being made to my exciting new purpose built guitar repair and custom-building workshop at my new address, I might even have an open day sometime in the spring... so watch this space!

Storing Your Guitar:

I get an awful lot of guitars in the workshop with damage ranging from broken off headstocks to chunks of missing paint and caved in bodies. The cause is almost always the same .... the guitar is kept on a stand and gets knocked over while the room is being cleaned etc.

A stand is for safely but briefly resting a guitar during in use, it is not somewhere for it to live!! Take my word for it... it WILL get knocked over. I have dozens of guitars through the workshop every week and I have just ONE stand for resting a guitar while swapping benches etc. The rest are always in cases. Result... I never knock guitars over!
